On KBS‘ variety program, Night Star, MC Shin Dong Yup had told Yong Hwa and Onew to be on good terms with one another since they were of the same age.

However, Onew, who is close to Jung Yonghwa’s virtual wife Seohyun, warned, “Don’t hurt Seohyun’s heart!”

What’s the most searched term for the first half of 2010?

Maybe the picture gave it away, but the number one searched term for the first half of 2010 is… SNSD!

That’s right, the ever popular girl group SNSD took the prize as the most searched term for the first half of 2010.

That isn’t the most surprising news either, because they deserved it.

6 out of the top 10 most searched terms were idol groups.

According to Soribada, a popular search portal in Korea, from January to July, SNSD took the cake as the number 1 searched term. After them it was T-ara in 2nd, Big Bang in 3rd, Kara in 7th, 2AM in 8th, and BEAST in 9th!

Quite an idol packed group, but the musical search trend continues!

When the most searched songs were researched, Super Junior’s Bonamana was number one. And this is less than 3 months after it’s release! In second place was the OST to the popular drama Chuno and in third was CNBLUE’s I’m a Loner.

The most downloaded song according to Soribada was 2AM’s “Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die” which was hugely popular in the first half of 2010.

The number one female solo singer was the queen of K-pop herself, Lee Hyori while the number one male solo singer was Strong Heart’s MC Lee Seung Gi.

CN BLUE Yong Hwa & SNSD Seo Hyun’s another outing

Virtual couple C.N.BLUE Jung Yong-Hwa and SNSD Seo-Hyun are having another fun time together for the show We Got Married. This time they making something from a little store in a little island in Korea.

Yong Hwa confessing that he calls Seo Hyun for personal manners

During the latest of TV show Seung Seung Jang Goo, C.N.BLUE Jung Yong-Hwa appeared in the show along with 2PM Taec-Yeon and Super Junior Choi Si-Won as part of the group of idols who are also acting.

Regarding his virtual wife SNSD Seo-Hyun, Jung Yong-Hwa commented, “As we spent some time together for We Got Married TV show, we became closer with each other. Sometimes we contact each other for personal manners.”

Jung Yong-Hwa continued, “When I was hospitalized with problems on my neck, Seo-Hyun wanted to come and visit. However, there were hundreds of fans already present in my hospital and I didn’t want any rumors so I told her not to.”

When Jung Yong-Hwa was asked during the show, “Who do you like better Seo-Hyun or SNSD Tae-Yeonwhom you were a fan even before your debut?” he answered without hestitation, “Seo-Hyun would be hurt when she hears this question. Of course it is Seo-Hyun.”

Well, could C.N.BLUE Jung Yong-Hwa and SNSD Seo-Hyun become “more” than a just virtual couple within boundary of a TV show?

SNSD Yoona betrayed by comedian Jang Dong Min

On the most recent episode of Family Outing 2, SNSD’s YoonA was betrayed by comedian Jang Dong Min.

On the July 4th broadcast, the 9 members were put in pairs and given the mission to reach Yangpyeong city. Partners were to be selected on their own through personal phone calls.

Since there are 9 members, the one member who was unable to claim a partner was left to complete the mission on their own.

YoonA first received a phone call from 2PM’s Taecyeon, but she declined the offer saying, “Sorry, I have someone to go with… It’s someone who is very cool, very fun, and has a sense of humor“. She then went on to call comedian Jang Dong Min, who gladly accepted her offer. However, Taecyeon had set out to sabotage YoonA for her betrayal. He called Jang Dong Min and told him, “YoonA has decided to go with me instead.” Then he called YoonA and said, “Jang Dong Min has decided to go with Shin Bong Sun“.

In the end, Jang Dong Min fell for Taecyeon’s clever mind tricks and chose to meet with Shin Bong Sun at the Han Nam station. Meanwhile YoonA was waiting at the In Chon station forJang Dong Min. Upon entering the station, she said, “I rode the subway everyday for four years when I was a trainee. I haven’t rode the subway since I debuted. I don’t think I’ll even know how to purchase tickets anymore.”

Keeping her faith in Jang Dong Min, YoonA decided to purchase both their subway tickets with the help of a stranger. In the end, she was betrayed and in her anger she proclaimed, “Dong Min-oppa, I’m going to kill him!”

Soo Young and Jung Shin visit YongSeo couple’s new home

Last week’s episode of the YongSeo couple segment on We Got Married Season 2, left off when SNSD’s Taeyeon had to leave because of her schedules, and Sooyoung and CNBLUE’s Lee Jungshin just arrived at the couple’s new home. The following summary is just a tidbit!

Upon their arrival, Jungshin tried to help around the house by attaching the lamp caps onto the ceiling. As Hyoyeon, Tiffany, and Sooyoung were admirably watching Jungshin easily lifting the cap and having no trouble with reaching the ceiling, they then started to tease Jung Yonghwa due to his height.

Sooyoung teasingly asked Yonghwa, “Can you not do it with one hand?”, Yonghwa defensively responded, “I can do it with one hand.” Hyoyeon added onto the mild teasing by suggesting, “I think you’ll have to step on top of the table.”

When Jungshin asked Yonghwa for some assistance with the lights, tall Sooyoung came to the rescue as she easily used her long arms to support holding the lamp that Jungshin was working on.

Later in the episode, Tiffany asked Jungshin, “Who is your favorite SNSD member?” to which he carefully replied, “YoonA sunbae.”

The atmosphere suddenly became cold, as Jungshin senselessly happened to pick YoonA, who was absent on that spot, even with him being surrounded by the other SNSD members. In attempts to turn the mood around, Yonghwa then asked Jungshin, “What do you think of SNSD?” to which he shortly replied, “Good.”

Sooyoung’s reaction gave a lot of laughs as she suddenly flared, not being able to control her ‘anger’ anymore by his short and heedless answers.

Hyo Min tears again over Sunny’s empty presence on Invincible Youth

As most of you may recall, on the teary episode of Invincible Youth when it came time for 4minute’s HyunA, and SNSD’s Sunny and Yuri to leave, T-ara’s Hyomin started to drop tears while she was reading a farewell letter to Sunny.

Several reporters flocked over to the KangWonDo Yuchiri area, the scene where the filming for the recent Invincible Youth was taking place. During an interview with Hyomin, she started to tear once again as the topic of Sunny began being discussed.

When Kim Shin Young revealed, “After Sunny left, she said over the phone ‘once you get to know Hyomin, she is naive. So please take care of her well’,” tears started to well in Hyomin’s eyes.

In response to that, Hyomin sadly expressed, “Her empty presence is quite large,”and then brightly stated, “But, now I’m doing well.”

Yuri is Heechul’s pick as the best chocolate color beauty

After a long pause since he last posted a selca with a female celebrity, Heechul has gotten back on track with a new selca taken with SNSD’s Yuri.

On July 3rd, Heechul was backstage with Yuri at Music Core where he took a picture with her and tweeted, “The universe’s best chocolate color beauty. On stage, Yuri shows qualities of 99.9% cacao, but on entertainment shows, she shows a white and clean image like that of milk chocolate. Just wrote this ment and in the process of getting it confirmed.”

SMTOWN Live 10 to happen this August

Although there’s no official word about this yet, it looks like SMTOWN Live 10 will be taking place this August.

SMTOWN Livw 09 had been sensationally postponed at the very last moment due to a lawsuit filed by 3 TVXQ members, although most felt that the reason given by SM Entertainment was unconvincing.

Almost a year later, it looks like it will finally happen this year after a SNSD fan spotted an advertisement plastered on a bus, promoting the concert extravaganza. This year, it will be held on 21st August at Seoul’s Jamshil stadium, starting from 5pm and ending at 10 at night. Click the picture below for a larger view.

The list of performers include KangTa, BoA, U-Know, Max, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, f(x), Trax and all SMTown artists and one thing to note was the word “World Tour” affixed at the top of the logo, although it could really mean anything. So stay tuned for more details which should be forthcoming soon.
