Hyo Min likes Sunny more than Shin Min Ah

Sunny and Hyo Min’s close friendship at the 1st anniversary of KBS 2TV’s “Invincible Youth (IY)” garnered much interest from viewers and netizens.

KBS 2TV’s “Invincible Youth 1st Anniversary Special” was aired at 11.10pm on October 29th. The show highlighted the value of hardwork in country life as well as sweet memories and friendship among the members. A year had past since its first broadcast and the unity among its members did not change.

For the 1st anniversary broadcast, the first generation members who left the show half way due to their respective commitments were being called up again for the special broadcast. Sunny, HyunA and Kim Taewoo who had left IY for quite some time were reunited again with the members and the production crews of IY.

Sunny, HyunA and Taewoo were welcomed with warmth especially Noh Juhyeon, Narsha, Goo Hara, Han Sunghwa and Hyomin. Hyomin who is very close with Sunny from the beginning of IY’s broadcast, hugged and greeted each other.

In this episode, Kim Taewoo asked Hyomin with a calm voice, “Between Sunny or Shin Min Ah, who do you like more?” This question was asked because Hyomin and Shin Min Ah who both acted in SBS’ drama “My Girlfriend Is A Nine-Tailed Fox” recently are very close to each other as well. The photos of Hyomin and Shin Min Ah’s close friendhip were disclosed on the internet.

In reply to the question, Hyomin proudly said, “Sunny”. Taewoo then mentioned that recently, Hyomin and Shin Min Ah are close to each other but he thinks that Hyomin has not changed and she still likes Sunny more. Hyomin instantly said “The drama has ended”. Upon hearing that, Sunny smile and gave Hyomin a hug.

Why did Tiara’s Soyeon withdraw from SNSD?

On a recent tvN talk show Taxi, Tiara’s Soyeon revealed the reason why she withdrew from SNSD / Girls’ Generation in the past. The reason was because she felt that her determination and drive was insufficient / lacking.

She admitted, “I’ve always leaned towards this career ever since I was young. I’ve been a child actress, and while I was training under a large company to debut in an idol group I became a Tiara member.”

During her pre-debut years, she trained under SM Entertainment as a SNSD trainee and she confessed, “During that time, I felt that my determination level was low. I got a hold of this chance to become a celebrity too easily that I never got my mind ready for it. Hence, the withdrawal.”

Adding on, “It not only applied to me, but other members (SNSD) also had previous experiences of either already having been on TV or spending trainee years under a different company. Although T-ara was made into an official group within a month span, I think this is why others have told us that we seem like a non-rookie group,” she confidently stated.

Tiara’s Soyeon was envious about SNSD

Tiara member, Soyeon has revealed that she was once envious about SNSD while promoting with T-ara.

In a recent recording for tvN’s Taxi program without Eunjung, Soyeon revealed, “While doing promotions with T-ara, I was once envious about SNSD. As we were still rookies back then, I couldn’t help but notice that the cheers from fans and attitude by production staff towards SNSD were totally different from us (T-ara). I was very envious about that. I thought to myself and hope that T-ara can find success quickly too.”

Soyeon was actually in the final selection to be part of SNSD before joining T-ara. But she later left due to the harsh training and personal reasons.

This episode with T-ara will air on June 10th.
