Yonghwa and Seohyun’s version of We Fell in Love on the way?

Remember the Adam couple’s duet We Fell In Love? Well, it looks like we’re going to get a version two of the song!

On the 26th, Ga-In’s agency Nega Network stated, “Composer Lee Min Soo and writer Kim E-Na whom in the past worked on We Fell In Love have gotten together once again to make We Fell In Love 2, which will be released in the month of June.”

It’s known that as soon as We Fell In Love hit success, the two have gotten together right away to start working on version two of the song.

While some of the netizens are excited for another possible duet of Jo Kwon and Ga-In, some are also questioning if the song is for the SeoHwa/YongSeo couple of Yonghwa and Seohyun, who are also gaining popularity on the same show.

Nega Network also stated, “Like the previous song, the upcoming track will be a duet which will contain heartwarming couple’s love story.”

Seo Hyun is Yong Hwa’s dream come true

CNBLUE leader Jung Yong Hwa, who recently made a comeback with his group’s second mini-album Bluelove, revealed his affectionate feelings for make-believe wife, SNSD’s Seohyun.

The Jung Yong Hwa and Seohyun couple is receiving a lot of love from fans through their appearance on MBC variety show We Got Married. During a recent interview for TV Daily, the CNBLUE leader told reporters, “Seohyun is close to my ideal type.”

To the question asking what he thought Seohyun’s charm was, Jung Yong Hwa honestly answered, “Her point of calmly looking out for others, her personality of when worrying, truly worrying about others is close to my ideal girl type.”

The singer stated that he is receiving a lot of influence from Seohyun, a SNSD member who receives a lot of love from the audience as a girl idol with a bright and honest living image. Jung Yong Hwa stated, “On the contrary, both of us have similar personalities so we care for each other a lot. Thanks to Seohyun, I started reading more and began to think twice about my actions and behavior.”

SNSD’s Hyoyeon also revealed, “After Seohyun comes back from We Got Married filming, she really looks like she’s in love and dating.”

To this, CNBLUE members were also asked if there were any changed in their leader after he started filming We Got Married. After thinking for a brief moment, the members agreed that Jung Yong Hwa became much brighter after the show.

SNSD and 2PM release new version of Cabi Song MV

After releasing the much-anticipated Cabi Song MV by 2PM and SNSD for Caribbean Bay last week, it has met with a mixed reception with some applause for the hot scenes while others criticized it for being over the top.

Among the noticeable changes were two scenes centered around Yuri, the first being her cleavage and the second getting a lotion rub from Nichkhun have been switched with friendlier scenes. Otherwise, the MV is almost the same as the origanal one. So do you now prefer the new or the original MV?

SNSD Jessica’s dad cried talking about her marriage

SNSD’s Jessica recently talked about being a daddy’s little girl on the variety program Happy Birthday.

In the episode that aired on the 24th, the cast talked about marriage. Jessica said, “When I say I want to get married, my parents hate it. Even if I mention who I like.”

She continued, “I talked about marriage once and my dad started to cry.” It just shows how he doesn’t really ever want to let her go. How sweet!

SNSD’s Yuri thanks Big Bang’s Seungri

SNSD’s Yuri has thanked Big Bang’s Seungri on a recent episode of Strong Heart.

She said, “I’ve adapted really well into the college life since I enrolled this year. Big Bang’s Seungri is in the same major as me and he helps me a lot with my college life.”

She continued, “Since Seungri is so outgoing, I made new friends through him really easily and I got used to my college life smoothly as well.”

The episode airs on the 25th. I’ve always been dying for some Big Bang-SNSD action so this is nice to hear. Seungri has certainly delivered.

SNSD postpones Bangkok concert indefinitely

It was revealed that SNSD’s Bangkok concert in July has now been postponed indefinitely.

This was revealed in a statement from PLATINUM MARKETING on the 24th, “Due to the volatile situation in Thailand, SNSD’s concert date for July 24th will now be postponed indefinitely. We will wait for the situation to normalize and try for a date within this year.”

After a successful overseas concert in Shanghai, China on April 17th, Bangkok, Thailand was to be their second overseas concert. But things have been simmering in Bangkok since March 14th between government and anti-government forces and the situation is not yet fully under control as we speak.

The SNSD girls are currently on a break, barring individual activities.

Yoona and SNSD charm the soldiers on Family Outing 2

In a continuation from last week's episode, SNSD did finally appear as promised for a performance.

The theme for this episode was to put up a performance for the servicemen in Dochon-do who hadn’t witnessed any celebratory performances since the Korean War. And from where we left off last week, Yoona had stepped on stage for her solo Deja Vu chair dance routine when she stopped, apparently due to nervousness. But she eventually got back on stage and spurred on by soliders and a worried looking Taecyeon backstage, she completed her performance.

The highlight of the night was SNSD though who showed up for the final performance after a call from Yoona earlier that day. Taeyeon couldn’t be there due to Chin Chin (before she left). The soldiers were already wild for Yoona so you could expect their unbridled joy when SNSD suddenly appeared!

The long-awaited 2010 Dream Concert took place this evening on May 22nd at the Seoul World Cup stadium.

Dream Concert is undoubtedly an event of epic proportions – with more than twenty of Korea’s hottest artists performing on one stage in front of an audience that’s 40,000 members strong. Before the concert proper, let’s view the 11 groups who walked the red carpet.

Fans were already lining up hours before the concert. Even though there was a light drizzle, it did not dampen their excitement.

Tiffany and Yuri to leave Music Core…

There has been a lot of speculation lately after some SNSD girls left their respective individual jobs like Taeyeon leaving Chin Chin, Sunny and Yuri leaving Invincible Youth, etc. The spotlight thus fell on existing jobs that SNSD girls held like Yoona on Family Outing 2, Taeyeon on Win Win and Yuri and Tiffany on Music Core.

Towards the end of the May 22nd episode of Music Core, both Tiffany and Yuri announced that they would not be hosting the show for the next 3 weeks. Despite their absence, they told viewers to not worry as amazing people will fill their spots. Lastly, they hope that the viewers will miss seeing them!

Their absence is likely due to SNSD’s overseas promotions and this will be of good news to fans of SNSD that Yuri and Tiffany are not leaving Music Core.

SNSD becomes real cheerleaders for an American football game!

On May 22nd, SNSD transformed into real cheerleaders for Sinsinpas Open Bowl Seoul American Football Final Match.

SNSD first transformed into football cheerleaders in their music video for Oh! In fact, actual Korea University football students were part of the music video! SM Entertainment’s CEO, Kim Young Min, was actually a member of the football team while attending Korea University.

The girls were invited to perform and they duly obliged with song performances. Tiffany also kicked a football into the crowd while the other members threw them as momentos for lucky fans who managed to catch them as they fly at them.

These football players and fans are surely lucky. Who wouldn’t want 9 gorgeous girls cheering for them and giving them balls?

Taecyeon gives Yoona a perfume present

It was revealed that on the recent recording of Family Outing 2, 2PM’s Taecyeon had given SNSD’s Yoona a perfume gift to celebrate her Coming of Age day.

The two have been heavily rumored to be dating ever since being paired together as a couple for a MBC Gayo Daejun performance. Even though they have denied that they were dating, they just can’t avoid being put together, with the recent Caribbean Bay music video being just one example.

After so much teasing in the past few weeks, I think all the SONES and Hottests including neutrals can’t wait any longer to watch the full music video, with anticipation building and building since it was announced that SNSD and 2PM were getting together for a CF for Caribbean Bay.

Well guess what, after releasing the full song earlier today together with some video snippets, the MV is finally out. Yuri and Nichkhun’s Caribbean Bay MV preview becomes a hot issue

The couple scene between SNSD Yuri and 2PM’s Nichkhun for their Caribbean Bay CF has became a hot issue.

On the 20th, a new preview of their CF/MV was released of Nichkhun and Yuri together in a “hot” atmosphere that can even be said to cause a “puberty problem.”

There were several scenes that caused the public’s interest, especially those where Nichkhun put on body oil for Yuri, the party scene where Yuri showed off her strong body wave and although it was a short teaser, it has created more anticipation.

Singer Seo In Young has revealed her admiration for SNSD’s Yuri out of all other female idols.

Seo In Young has a lot of experience with variety, singing, dancing and being a fashionista. She’s more than a triple threat but these days, she has been keeping her eye on upcoming stars.

She said in a recent interview, “When I see idols sing and dance on shows these days and go on variety shows, I’m amazed. When I was in Jewelry, it was hard focus on just one thing. It’s a trend to be good at everything these days. Personally when I see SNSD’s Yuri, she’s so cute when she’s working.”

Let’s all face it. Yuri has all the qualities to be the next Seo In Young/Lee Hyori. She can decently sing, dance really well and she’s hilarious.

Sunny and Tiffany are on Fire in 1000 Song Challenge

Last week, SNSD’s Sunny and Tiffany performed T-ara’s Bo Beep Bo Peep on 1000 Song Challenge wearing the stuffed bear paws as additional props. On the most recent episode of the show, they continued to belt more notes and even busted out their rapping skills to 2AM’s This Song, 2NE1’s Fire, 4minute’s Hot Issue, Super Junior’s Sorry Sorry, among others.

What stood out to me the most, though, (aside from the MC’s hilarious proclamation when his favorite song was played) was their rendition of Davichi’s 8282. Aside from the fact that the song is not an easy one to sing, Tiffany managed to pull it off rather well, with Sunny supporting her with harmonization.

Hee Chul proclaims Yoona as the prettiest celebrity

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul has strike again on his Twitter and after going on a uploading frenzy involving f(x) members in the past few days, he has broken that link by uploading a picture of himself with SNSD’s Yoona this time.

On May 18th, Heechul uploaded the picture of himself and Yoona posing during a break in their Family Outing 2 recording as he wrote, “Yoona, the girl with an amazing beauty-to-attitude ratio and face that is prettier without any makeup on. We call each other names like “granny” and “middle-aged”, but she is the prettiest celebrity I’ve met. We’re friendly arch-enemies,” showing their friendship.

SNSD’s Hyoyeon revealed on Strong Heart that she is currently crushing on a male idol.

In the upcoming episode, which will air on the 18th, Hyoyeon confessed, “I have a crush right now, it’s a male idol group member.” All the guests’ jaws dropped upon hearing this.

She continued, “I always check to see if our schedules are overlapping. When I have the same schedule as him, I put more effort into putting myself together.”

SNSD’s Seo Hyun spotted around Dongguk University

Yong Hwa has been reading a lot because of Seo Hyun

With their upcoming new album, rock band idol group CNBLUE recently revealed their transformed charismatic self in the June edition of Singles.

In the photo shoot, the members are shown with heavy smoky makeup and a chic expression to show off a bad boy image.

CNBLUE’s maknae member Lee Jung Shin said in an interview regarding their new album, “Like the first album, this album has a punky rock feel, but there are also fresh songs that match with the summer season. It is overall very bright and clear.”

Leader Jung Yonghwa added, “It [album] consists of songs that are easy and rhythmical so they are good to sing along to. Moreover, because we have personally composed and wrote some of these songs, this album is more precious to us,” showing a particular affection for their new album.

About how they became sudden stars soon after releasing the first album I’m A Loner back in January, Jung Yonghwa responded, “I still don’t think the album went well. Although the first start was very good, our goal is for the band culture in Korea to be stable and loved through us.”

When Yonghwa was asked what he does for leisure during his spare time, he replied unexpectedly, “I received a lot of influence lately from wife Seohyun so I’ve been reading a lot of books.” Jung Yonghwa and SNSD’s Seohyun are a make-believe couple on the MBC reality show We Got Married.

SNSD’s Tae Yeon and Seo Hyun will dub an animation

SNSD’s Taeyeon and Seohyun will use their voices to dub the 3D animation Superbad. What an unfortunate thing that the American movie that shares the same title is incredibly the opposite of this one!

On the 17th, it was announced that these two girls will use their girly and enthusiastic voices to dub two daughters. The makers of Ice Age are getting together for this one. It’s about a villain that wants to become the baddest, but he’s not really a bad person on the inside.

The movie is scheduled to come out this Fall.

SNSD’s Yoona wows the servicemen on Family Outing 2

SNSD’s Yoona excited 1,400 servicemen on a recent Family Outing 2 episode after the whole cast showed up at a Kangwon-do service area and surprising them.

The cast put on special performance as a treat for the servicemen and while the men generally enjoyed all the performances, the atmosphere turned red-hot when Yoona came on by herself.

The 1,400 men went literally crazy as the cheering pierced everyone’s ears including Yoona’s as she put on a sexy Deja Vu chair dance routine (?) but she kind of stopped midway through the performance and we end with SNSD appearing as only a preview for next week.

SNSD’s Sunny reveals her real height

SNSD’s Sunny revealed her real height on Invincible Youth. On SNSD’s website, her profile reads that she is 158cm.

During the episode that aired on the 14th, she was shoveling with Kim Tae Woo. She was so good at shoveling that Kim Tae Woo commented, “You could be a woman in the army.”

Then Sunny replied, “There’s one problem. I’m only 155cm tall.”

She quickly joked, “I got 3cm shorter.”

BEAST’s Yoseob wants nine kisses from SNSD

On the 15th, BEAST aired as guests on Lee Soo Young’s radio station, Lee Soo Young’s Music Show.

During the interview, BEAST members were asked who they wanted a kiss from on Adult Day. This day is a holiday that Koreans celebrate in recognition of all citizens who have turned 20 years old.

In response to the question, Yoseob had answered that he wanted a kiss from all nine members of SNSD. What a greedy little boy he is!

However, before Yoseob’s answer, Doojoon had picked Lee Soo Young (the DJ) and Kikwang had picked his fanclub Beauty. Then came Yoseob’s turn, and he had chosen SNSD, even those his members had teased him by saying, “Exclude our fellow company members 4minute.” Guess Yoseob fancied 4minute as well.

Tiara’s Hyomin wishes SNSD’s Sunny a Happy Birthday

SNSD’s Sunny celebrates her 21st birthday on May 15th and her Invincible Youth best mate, T-ara’s Hyomin has been one of the first to wish her a happy birthday.

Through her Cyworld on the 15th at 00:09am, Hyomin wrote a birthday message on her online diary,

“Sun Kyu-ya, Happy Birthday ~ ♥ Sunny Sunny you’re my eternal sunshine.”

From mere acquaintances before the show started last October, the two have developed a close affinity with each other with each passing episode and its like they cannot do without each other. But it’s all coming to an end next week.

know we are all sad about Sunny leaving Invincible Youth, including her beloved cow. But I’m sure Hyomin will be one of those that will be really sad about this.

Yuri and Sunny are off Invincible Youth

As the news broke that 1 – 2 members would be leaving Invincible Youth earlier this week, there were mounting speculation among fans that SNSD’s Yuri and Sunny were the likely ones to be leaving the show.

And it looks like they were right.

A production staff confirmed the news on the 14th, “Yuri and Sunny will be leaving the show in June. The reasons being that they are entering the Japanese market and the need to also prepare for their Asia concert tour.”

He added, “We are still currently auditioning among girl group members to take over their spots in the show.” As for the newest speculation among fans that 4minute’s Hyuna would be leaving too, he said, “There’s no truth in that.”

In a separate news report, PD Kim Ho Sang refused to acknowledge the claims made by the staff and said nothing was confirmed as yet.

They only recently celebrated Kim Tae Woo’s birthday. So sad it’s breaking up.

Seo Hyun gives Yong Hwa a gift

The awkward couple from We Got Married, CNBLUE’s Yonghwa and SNSD/Girl’s Generation’s Seohyun, is noticably getting more comfortable with each other.

On the most recent recording of the show, Seohyun gave her “husband” a thoughtful gift, an antibiotic made of natural bee honey. Since Yonghwa is still recovering from his vocal nodules, the gift will make his throat recover much faster.

In his reaction, Yonghwa stated, “I received a gift that I never would have thought of getting. I was very thankful to Seohyun. At first, we were very awkward with each other, but now we are more comfortable.”

He also stated his worries about meeting the rest of the SNSD members, saying, “My current problem is meeting the other SNSD members. I won’t know what to do when I meet them. Showing my true self would probably be the best, so I am acting like my normal self on broadcast.”

The two seem more and more like a couple now, huh?

Let’s hope that Yonghwa’s voice will be fully recovered by the time his group performs their first comeback stage.

Yoona attends My Green Tea Tour on Jeju Island

We reported earlier about a special event organized by Innisfree involving SNSD’s Yoona. And the special event with lucky fans happened yesterday on May 12th.

This special event called “My Green Tea Tour” was held in Jeju Island and involved Yoona meeting some lucky fans who bought Innisfree products. They then proceeded to plant their own green tea trees, complete with name tags to indicate that they are the owners of it. Fans also received an Innisfree hamper, autographed SNSD album and photograph opportunity.

Yoona expressed, “I hope I can come over often to Jeju Island in future because I have my own green tea tree now. I am very thankful for the opportunity to meet my fans on this beautiful journey at close proximity.”

An Innisfree representative said, “Yoona has left a deep impression on her fans with her sincerity and friendliness. We hope that Yoona and fans have created a beautiful memory on Jeju Island and we thank them for supporting Innisfree products.”

SM Entertainment scores with SNSD and Super Junior

SM Entertainment has scored once again in Korea with their idol groups SNSD and Super Junior. They hit their all-time record by earning a total gross of 22.7 billion WON which is approximately $20 million!

Doesn’t this sound familiar? SM Ent. scored big with these two groups last year during the same time of the year. SNSD started off with Gee and Super Junior finished off with Sorry Sorry. Now, SNSD started off with Oh! and Run Devil Run and Super Junior is taking over with BONAMANA.

It’s incredible to think they earned all of that in just one half of the year. They rose 58% from last year. They’ve gone up 471% since they first opened in 1995.

I’m sure f(x) is adding on to their income pretty well now too.

Photos of SNSD’s Yuri on the campus of Chung-Ang University have attracted the attention of netizens recently.

Yuri had enrolled earlier in Chung-Ang University this past February with Big Bang’s Seungri.

The photos show Yuri in glasses walking along a basketball court and cheering those playing ball while another shows her eating with her classmates.

Also, each of the members had to answer a question without much time to think. Here, Tiffany discretely revealed that Jessica’s latest crush is Jung Woo Sung, which the latter member denied immediately. Tiffany also admitted that she is jealous of Hyoyeon’s humor.

SNSD’s jewel Tiffany will be revealing her raw face for the first time on the next episode of Family Outing 2.

According to the staff of Family Outing 2, Tiffany’s raw face became quite the subject for talk on the set. They said, “Because they only saw Tiffany in her heavy make up on stage, Junho and Taecyeon were impressed.”

This episode was a Best Friend special, and quests like Tiffany, Gil, 2PM’s Junho, and Kim Gwang Gyu were present.

Video clips of SNSD’s Taeyeon performing in the musical The Sun’s Song have been released to the press.

The Sun’s Song/Midnight Sun is based on the Japanese novel and movie of the same name. The Sun’s Song is Taeyeon’s musical debut, wherein she plays the part of Kaoru, who is afflicted with Xeroderma pigmentosum, a genetic disorder that makes her overly sensitive to sunlight. Her character falls for a man who lives for the sun as a surfer.

The released clips give a good view of her performance. While we have all seen her dancing and heard her amazing singing voice, we also get a rare glimpse of her acting ability here. It already looks like it’s going to be a great success.

Earlier in the week we shared with you SNSD’s appearance on MBC Section TV as the girls were featured on the set of a Goobne Chicken commercial. In the past few days, the commercial has been finally released in two versions. There’s one featuring Jessica and another featuring Seohyun.

Seo Hyun and Yong Hwa get their driver’s licenses?

For those of you who haven’t noticed, MBC’s regular programming has been completely destroyed as a result of the ongoing MBC labor union strike.

Although none of their shows have broadcast new episodes (with exceptions), filming for the shows has continued. Thankfully, the dutiful reporting of Korean netizens has given us glimpses into these unseen episodes that will be broadcast who knows when.

Pictures of the YongSeo couple, CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa and SNSD’s Seohyun from We Got Married were sighted by eagle-eyed fans at the Korean equivalent of a DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) getting their driver’s licenses.

Now, it is a little odd for idol celebrities to be getting a license, as they have a slave manager who drive them places, but who knows what the PD for We Got Married has cooked up for this popular couple this time?

But it’s still too early to say when we will get to see this!

SNSD' Seo Hyun and f(x)' Krystal for Clean and Clear

Back in March, SNSD / Girls’ Generation maknae Seohyun and f(x) member Krystal collaborated to film CF for Clean and Clear. Now, Clean and Clear has released another CF featuring the pretty duo.

A question pops up asking the girls if they’re worried about sun burn. They respond with, “It’s Ok, because we use Clean & Clear Sun Block.”

SNSD and Kim Jae Dong are wanted by college students

It looks like girl group SNSD / Girls’ Generation and MC Kim Jae Dong are the most wanted celebrities at colleges.

Korean Internet Resume and Job Seeking site Incruit recently took a survey of 410 college students with the question, “Which celebrity you’d like to meet at your college festival?” In the MC category, Kim Jae Dong took first place. In the artists category, SNSD came out on top.

For the MC category, Kim Jae Dong garnered 36.1% of the votes, probably because he is the one of the few MC’s in Korea that throws witty jokes at his audience. Yoo Jae Suk came in second place and Yoo Se Yoon came in third. Lee Soo Geun was fourth and Yoon Hyung Bin was fifth. Other big name MC’s such as Kim Gura, Haha, No Hong Chul and Kang Ho Dong rounded out the list.

For the artists category, SNSD garnered 17.3% of the votes. KARA was next in line and then came MC Mong. Psy took fourth place and BEAST took fifth. Other singers such as T-ara, Drunken Tiger (Tiger JK), Rain, Lee Seung Gi and Big Bang were also on the list.
