Suju’s Lee Teuk refers to news articles written about him and SNSD’s Tae Yeon

On this week’s ‘Star King’, Super Junior’s leader, Lee Teuk, directly referred to the rumor spreading about him and SNSD’s Tae Yeon being in a relationship.

In the episode, a fisherman from Kunsan, Kim Hyun Bong, came on as a contestant for the second time.

When Kim Hyun Bong came on, Lee Teuk said, “There were so many articles about you. I got a lot of articles too”, referring to the articles written about the possible relationship between him and Tae Yeon.

MC Kang Ho Dong got suspicious and asked, “Celebrities usually try to hide their relationships, but why are you directly referring to it?” Lee Teuk simply replied with, “It’s been such a long time since articles were written about me”, making the studio burst into laughter.

On the other hand, Lee Teuk denied all rumors about dating Tae Yeon during a recent broadcast of MBC’s ‘Radiostar’.

Super Junior’s Lee Teuk denied on the September 23rd airing of “Radio Star” regarding the rumors of him in a dating relationship with SNSD’s Tae Yeon.

He opened up to the MCs and fellow guest on his recent “couple earring” incidents.

To the “pestering” questions from the MC, he replied, “I personally bought those bunny earrings. In fact, I was the first to buy it. It was purely coincidental that she wore an identical piece.”

Shin Dong added a spice of humor by stating, “If MC Kim Gura wore the earrings, such rumors wouldn’t have popped up.”

SM Entertainment denies Tae Yeon and Lee Teuk are dating

It was revealed earlier that SNSD’s leader, Tae Yeon, was sporting the same earrings as Super Junior’s leader, Lee Teuk, which then spiraled into dating rumors.

SM Entertainment quickly stepped in to deny the fact that the two are in any sort of romantic relationship.

Lee Teuk was spotted wearing the earrings during the press conference at SM TOWN LIVE ‘10, which took place in Los Angeles just a few days ago. Tae Yeon sported the same pair of earrings when she attended a red carpet event for the animated film, Despicable Me.

An official from SM Entertainment stated, “It’s just a matter of pure coincidence. I’m honestly at loss for words.”

According to the “know-it-all” netizens, the answer is yes.

So what’s all the random Lee Teuk & Taeyeon hype about? It turns out that the two idol stars were apparently caught wearing a same necklace, resulting in numerous speculations of their mystery relationship. (Taecyeon & YoonA anyone?)

Of course, this can just be a mere coincidence, possibly caused by being in the same company with same stylists who provide them such accessories. But again, the fact that the two both belong in the same company supports their relationship at the same time.

SNSD and Super Junior couple up for SPAO

Last week we reported that SNSD’s Yoona and Super Junior’s Choi Siwon had coupled up for clothing brand SPAO. Looks like the pairing doesn’t end there as SNSD’s Jessica & Seohyun, and Super Junior’s Leeteuk & Kyuhyun join in on the love!

Each couple pairing shows off a different vibe as Yoona & Siwon are the “homely couple,” Jessica & Leeteuk are the “charismatic couple” and Seohyun & Kyuhyun are the “celebratory couple.” SM Entertainment really keeps the family tight knit but there’s nothing ever wrong with a SNSD and Suju collaboration.

Back in November 2009, casual brand SPAO had both SNSD and Super Junior sign on to model and promote their clothing. No doubt the two idol groups have boosted sales but this new “couples pairing” might benefit the brand even further.
