SNSD’s Soo Young, Super Junior's Si Won & Shin Se Kyung pay a visit to an ALS patient

Photos of actress , SNSD member Soo Young, and Super Junior’s Si Won and Shin Se Kyung meeting ex-professional basketball coach Park Seung Il recently surfaced, gathering the attention of many fans.

Park Seung Il is an ex-professional basketball player and coach, who has unfortunately been suffering from a motor neuron disease called Lou Gehrig’s Disease, or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). The disease is progressive, fatal, and neurodegenerative, caused by the degeneration of motor neurons, essentially degrading any voluntary muscular movement.

He was unexpectedly greeted by Shin Se Kyung, Soo Young, Super Junior’s Si Won, and actors Yang Dong Geun and Jung Joon, who came to support him during his treatment.

These pictures were actually taken last month and was uploaded onto Park Seung Il’s fan cafe called, ‘Fighting ALS together with Park Seung Il’, but had only caught the netizens’ attentions recently.

Netizens have been particularly touched by the pictures of Soo Young and Shin Se Kyung , giving Park Seung Il heartwarming kisses on his cheek.

Jessica, Soo Young and Hyo Yeon’s Oh! My Lady cameo scene released

There have been a lot of hype about SNSD members, Jessica, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon making a cameo in Choi Siwon’s drama, Oh! My Lady since last week. So naturally, a lot of SNSD fans were tuned in to their television sets on April 12th to catch a glimpse of their idols.

The non-speaking cameo was very short though, clocking in at just 13 secs and sees the girls walk on a miniature red carpet and posing for the cameras.

SNSD members film their cameo scene for Oh! My Lady

We revealed earlier that three SNSD members would be supporting their SM Entertainment sunbae Super Junior’s Siwon by making a cameo appearance for his new drama Oh! My Lady. Pictures have now been revealed!

On the 7th, Hyoyeon, Jessica and Sooyoung appeared on the filming set to film the cameo scene that they were in. The girls were in a scene where Siwon’s character goes to a fashion show and they are there as fellow celebrities.

When the girls appeared on the filming set, Siwon greeted them with a big smile and the girls then introduced themselves properly to the staff. The girls posed on the red carpet which wasn’t hard since they do that all the time.

Siwon said, “I’m so thankful that they came even though they’re busy. Sooyoung has been taking acting lessons so we talk about acting a lot. I introduce her as my cousin sometimes. We promised to make cameos for each other.”

Sooyoung said, “I always watch Siwon’s dramas. I remember the kiss scene from the first episode. He’s so charming when he acts.”

Jessica said, “I know Siwon oppa wants to act. I hope he becomes a true actor through this drama. I want to try one day as well.”

SNSD members to appear for Choi Si Won’s Oh! My Lady

It was revealed on the 7th that three SNSD members had appeared at the filming site for SBS’s Oh! My Lady, to the surprise of many.

According to a production staff, “SNSD’s Jessica, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon will be making a cameo appearance in the drama and film a fashion show scene. We believe that they will do a good job.”

The scene is about how Choi Si Won’s character, Sung Min Woo fails to make it to the fashion show due to illness. SNSD’s Jessica, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon will then appear as top singers as a replacement for his absence. Viewers will be able to see a brand new image of the SNSD girls as they walk down the runway.

The staff added, “We are glad that the SNSD girls could make it for the filming despite their busy schedules. Not just SNSD, we are also in discussions to bring in f(x) for a cameo appearance as well.”

Nice to see the SM family bond being shown once more.

Yoona and Choi Siwon for TV&Style

Girls’ Generation / SNSD’s Yoona and Super Junior’s Choi Siwon have released new pictures for TV&Style.

The two have been doing a lot of work together recently after being paired up as a SPAO couple. Yoona is looking great here in her white vintage styled dresses and Choi Siwon is quite dapper in his white jackets and olive colored suit. Hope to see more of them together in the future.

Earlier in the month Super Junior’s Choi Siwon got together with SNSD / Girls’ Generation member Yoona to become the SPAO couple. Recently a lucky fan was granted access to a photo shoot where the two came together once again. No word on what specifically this is for but it’s probably not for SPAO as the clothes look different from their style. Regardless for whatever it’s for, they look great together.

SNSD and Super Junior couple up for SPAO

Last week we reported that SNSD’s Yoona and Super Junior’s Choi Siwon had coupled up for clothing brand SPAO. Looks like the pairing doesn’t end there as SNSD’s Jessica & Seohyun, and Super Junior’s Leeteuk & Kyuhyun join in on the love!

Each couple pairing shows off a different vibe as Yoona & Siwon are the “homely couple,” Jessica & Leeteuk are the “charismatic couple” and Seohyun & Kyuhyun are the “celebratory couple.” SM Entertainment really keeps the family tight knit but there’s nothing ever wrong with a SNSD and Suju collaboration.

Back in November 2009, casual brand SPAO had both SNSD and Super Junior sign on to model and promote their clothing. No doubt the two idol groups have boosted sales but this new “couples pairing” might benefit the brand even further.

SNSD to make a cameo appearance for Choi Siwon

SNSD / Girls’ Generation will be supporting Super Junior member and fellow SM Entertainment family member Choi Siwon by making a cameo appearance on his upcoming drama.

As many of you know, Choi Siwon is starring in a new SBS‘ drama coincidentally with an Oh! in the title, titled Oh! My Lady. It’s a romantic comedy about a normal woman (ahjuma) who becomes the manager of a top celebrity (Siwon). The current plan is for SNSD to make their cameo appearance in the show for a concert scene.

This is Choi Siwon’s first role as part of a drama’s main cast and it’s good to see fellow family members supporting him for it. Evermore, SNSD’s popularity is through the roof and the group has never made any drama appearances together as a group, so the team behind Oh! My Lady is hoping SNSD’s cameo will peak interest and help the ratings.

Oh! My Lady will premiere on March 15th.
